Furniture of California – Store Policies & Terms of Service

These Terms and Store Policies govern your access to and use of the Furniture of California website and the purchase of products offered through our store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the policies described below.

Sales Tax

Furniture of California collects sales tax in states where we are legally required to do so. Taxes are calculated automatically at checkout based on the delivery address.

If tax is not collected for your location, you are responsible for reporting and remitting any required use tax to the appropriate local or state authority.

Please note: Changing the delivery address after an order is placed may affect the tax amount and additional charges may apply.


Promotions, Discounts & Store Credit

  • Only one promotional code or coupon may be applied per order.

  • Promotional discounts may not be combined with trade or special pricing programs unless specifically stated.

  • Store credit cannot be applied to the order in which it is issued.

  • Store credit cannot be applied retroactively to prior purchases.

  • Missing promo codes must be reported within 72 hours of placing the order.

Promotions and discounts may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.


Payments

Payment is required at the time an order is placed. Orders will not be processed until payment authorization is successfully completed.

Refunds, when applicable, will be issued only to the original form of payment used during checkout.

For security and fraud prevention:

  • Orders may be subject to verification

  • Additional documentation may be requested

  • Orders that fail verification may be canceled

If you believe a billing error occurred, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank so we can assist you promptly.


Order Acceptance & Product Availability

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, and images. However:

  • Product availability is not guaranteed

  • Inventory levels may change without notice

  • Items may be discontinued at any time

Furniture of California reserves the right to:

  • Cancel orders due to stock unavailability

  • Limit quantities

  • Refuse suspected reseller or fraudulent orders

  • Correct listing or pricing errors

If an order cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issued.


Pricing & Website Errors

Occasionally errors may occur in pricing, product details, or shipping rates.

Furniture of California reserves the right to:

  • Correct errors

  • Update pricing

  • Cancel affected orders

  • Request confirmation before shipment

If a pricing error occurs, you will be notified and may choose to proceed with the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.


Financing & Installment Payments

We may offer third-party financing or installment payment options at checkout. Any financing agreement is solely between the customer and the financing provider.

Furniture of California is not the lender and does not control approval decisions, payment schedules, interest rates, or account terms. Customers must comply with the financing provider’s terms and conditions.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We are committed to resolving customer concerns quickly and fairly.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution. We reserve the right to provide delivery confirmation, tracking records, signed receipts, and carrier documentation to payment processors in response to disputes.

Fraudulent disputes may be contested.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Furniture of California shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use, delay, inconvenience, or lost profits resulting from the purchase or use of our products.

Our maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed:

  • The purchase price paid for the product

  • Any shipping charges paid directly to Furniture of California

This limitation does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.


Order Fulfillment

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. An order is considered accepted only after processing and shipment confirmation.

If we are unable to fulfill an order:

  • A full refund will be issued if payment was made

  • No additional compensation beyond the refund amount will be provided


Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Furniture of California or its suppliers and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.


Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve all concerns directly and fairly.

Customers agree to contact us first to attempt resolution. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be handled through small-claims court or other remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights provided under state or federal consumer protection regulations.

Furniture of California reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The most current version will always be posted on this page, and continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
